WORLD BOOK DAY MARCH 2024
Amber and Indigo class enjoyed reading to each other.
Children wore lovely costumes representing their favourite book character and worked very hard on their character potatoes!
Orange class PE- Monday and Wednesday
Amber class PE- Monday and Tuesday
As part of our Geography, we walked to Billericay Highstreet and visited our local library.
In Computing, we learned how to drag and drop images.
In PSHE, we made a web of friendship.
In our science lessons we learnt about different materials.
In DT we completed our topic on houses by creating shoe box houses with a partner.
In Maths we have been doing lots of work on different methods of adding and subtracting.
In art, we learnt about the primary colours and painted our own version of the starry night, by Vincent Van Gogh.
During multicultural week we learned about Brazil. We were taught how to Samba!
We have loved looking after the chicks in Year 1 and have enjoyed watching them hatch and grow.
The school ministry set up different activities to help us learn about the Easter Story.
We had lots of fun learning about volume and capactity.
